Ombre Hair Don't Care.

This is just a quick wee post today.
Last Thursday I got my hair done. I had no clue what I was going to get done.
I have been blonde, brown, dark brown, red. Basically every colour in the book.
However, I decide to be brave and go for the new hair style trend called 'ombre'.
It is basically like dip dye however it is more blended.
and I have to say I am LOVING it.

These are a few snaps from last night. It was the first time I had been out with my new due.

anyways, hope you all had a fab Christmas

Christmas Wishlist...

Since it's nearly Christmas, 10 days to be specific I thought I'd share SOME of the things I would like too receive this Christmas, if anyone I know is feeling generous towards a poor student.
Unfortunately I ain't feeling very festive this year,
maybe it's due to that fact I still have a load of coursework too do.
But after Friday, I am finally free and might start to feel more christmassy.

Firstly, this Primark coat. It is GORGEOUS and it is soooo similar too the Topshop pink coat, however half the price. However, this coat seems to be an urban myth. I have literally have been in every shop in Scotland looking for it and no such luck.

I'm such a big fan of jumpsuits. They are such a good wardrobe piece for winter as they cover your legs however still show a bit of cleavage on top. I absolutely love this one from Topshop for £60 bit pricey however it is very flattering on as I had too try it on the other day when I was browsing the shops.

Last Christmas I was fortunate enough to be bought nike air maxs, so it's only normal I would like another pair of sneaks...right? I'm loving New Balance sneaks atm. they just look so cool.
Enough said.

Ever since I have seen this Topshop PVC skirt a few months back I wanted it. Everyone who is everyone has it. Although, it is sold old completely and the prices on Ebay are ridiculous for it. However, the other day when I was only Ebay I did see an exact copy of the skirt for only £14.99 so I feel like that will be getting purchased as soon as I get paid.

Finally, everyone who knows me knows I love doing my eyes bold on a night out. I always do big dark eyes combined with my eylure lashes. I must not be too bad at them either cause my friends are always asking me too do theirs before we go out nights out (future career if fashion doesn't work out). I'm running out of most of my eyeshadows though and this one is only £33 which I think is pretty good for the amount of eyeshadows which come in the palette. I also LOVE the colours they are perfect for doing a soft look during the day and then a bold glam look at night.

so that's all I'm going to share with you from my christmas wishlist,
if my friends or parents are struggling for ideas ;)

hope your all having a more exciting weekend than I am

Sparkles Are A Girls Best Friend

Working for Tesco it is very rare I see something I like out of the clothes they have too offer, however sometimes it does surprise me.
The other day the MOST amazing clutch bag came in and they were selling out pretty fast with only 2 left I knew I needed to grab it quick..so I did after work today.
And I have too say I love it. I literally haven't seen a clutch bag on the high street shops which I think looks as good as this one and with it only costing £12.50 and I also recieve a 10% discount
it cost me next too nothing!

Don't you just love it?
Especially since it combines two of my favourite things..sparkles & pink!
With it being the month of parties, it will certainly glam up any outfit and make it look more festive.
I know I certainly will be getting much use out of it over the next coming weeks.

Just a quick wee post today guys.

Too Many Parties, Too Little Money.

I love the month December. Especially since it consists of many nights out.
This week has been no exception.
Firstly on Wednesday my two best friends from home came up. It was so good too see them cause I literally haven't since we went away to uni at the start of September.
So as you can imagine things go very messy since we made punch,
however we did manage too look classy in our dresses, so i guess that balances it out...sorta.

I hadn't bought anything new too wear so I wore my bright pink topshop dress I purchased back in October.
I managed too make it look a bit different teaming it with a primark belt, only for £3.
I actually think the dress looked much better with the belt as it was more fitting and I thought made me look slimmer which is always a bonus.
Then finished the look off with my trusty new look wedges, literally the most comfortable shoes EVER.

Then on Saturday night it was time to get glammed up again, when I went out with my best pal from my course Kirsty.
I again had bought nothing new too wear since I am too poor with Christmas shopping and spurring out on all these nights out.
I decided to wear my trusty skort from Zara. I purchased this way back in the summer however I still see so many people wearing them and I personally still love mine.
I went for a bit of a monochrome look teaming it with a white top from Topshop.
I finished off the look with my recently purchased purple heels from Primark and new purple mac lipstick

did you guys get up too anything nice this weekend?

MAC obsession.

So a couple years ago I changed my make up from bare minerals too mac. This is mainly because I had horrendous skin and was looking for more coverage but I haven't looked back.
I am obsessed with their products.
However, I always had to order my make up online or get it when I was in Glasgow or Edinburgh, which was such a hassle.
Until last week when one opened in Aberdeen.
It was literally a dream come true, although it is going to be very bad for my back account.
Luckily it opened the day my parents were up so I managed to get some products bought for me.

These are the products I purchased.

So I was running out of foundation so badly. I always get the studio fix fluid and the powder.
The colour I buy is NW30. It's quick dark, however I prefer having a tan because life is generally better with one. I like quite a heavy coat of make up so I will always use the liquid first then use the mac concealer topped off with the powder..seems like alot but the make up lasts for ages and I personally prefer this.

Lastly I bought this lipstick and I am in love with it. I normally tend to wear pink and red lipsticks, however when I saw this I knew I had to have it.
I think the colour is perfect for the winter months and it was only £15...bargain.
The thing I love about mac lipsticks is they actually stay on unlike my other lipsticks I have,
so throughout the night I don't find myself reapplying it ALL the time.

After that long hard day of make up shopping, my parents treated me too a lovely Italian meal followed by a couple too many drinks.
Here is me and my dad, as you can tell I am wearing my new mac products.

so what do you guys think of mac?

ALL HAIL THE KARDASHIANS!

Everyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with the Kardashian's.
I am forever wishing they would adopt me into their family, I feel like I'd fit right in with my brunette hair and fake tanned skin...no?
As well as loving them each individually (stalker) they are all incredibly stylish
and I am forever wishing I had their closet.

Kim Kardashian

'I used to love heavy makeup and smokier eyes and wouldn't really try new looks. Now, I will try anything'

Kim has bounced back after the birth of her baby, ditching her trademark brunette hair for a softer golden blonde and I think she looks amazing. How can someone look this good after giving birth?
Kim has been seen recently wearing more softer pastel colours than she would wear before giving the recent mother a new look, and I think she suits it more than her previously style.
Looks like Kim is not ready to give up the title of the most stylish Kardashian.

Kylie Jenner.

How can she be so cool? she is ONLY 16 and she
1. dresses better than me
2. looks older than me

I feel Kylie's style is a bit more edgy she is forever taken risks.
I wish I could pull of the clothes she wears however, I don't have the figure.
Kyle is forever pairing skin tight dresses with ankle boots on the red carpet making her look amazing..however it would just make my legs look stubby.
Not. Fair.
I feel like she is soon going to over take Kim on being the most stylish Kardashian.

Kendall Jenner.

Last but not least..my favourite Kardashian/Jenner, Kendall.
I mean look at her. She is amazing. If I looked like her I would literally be the happiest girl in the world.
Can you tell I have a bit of a girl crush? but who wouldn't.
Kendall's style is a bit more simple compared to risky sibling Kylie. However, despite this she still always manages to look beautiful.
This outfit is from last night AMA's. I love the simple white dress made daring with slits cut out, paired with a bold necklace and bag making it a statement piece.
She can do no wrong..and apparently she is dating Harry Styles.
I mean let me be you.

So this is it.
I have narrowed it down to just the three Kardashians.
Even though Khloe & Kourtney's styles are amazing I feel like the ones above are more stylish.
(personally opinion)

So who is your favourite Kardashian ?

House Of Catherine

I have to say I'm getting pretty good at this blogging malarkey as this is my third post this week?
I am currently suffering from a two day hangover, can't seem to hack it anymore at my old age of 19. I also have a majorly hurt up foot after falling over waaay too many times that night.
Can you tell I'm a student?

Anyways, back to fashion. At the start of summer I noticed Lucy from Towie wearing the most beautiful dress and ever since then I have noticed tones more celebs wearing the same type of dress.

I knew I needed to figure out who made these dresses and I recently discovered it was from House of Catherine. The dresses are only available from buying online however you do have the option to rent a dress from sister company katwalkhire.com.
What I personally love about the company is that the dresses were designed to think about girls with curves and not just 6ft models in mind. (not that I would be complaining if I looked like that)

The website has many stunning dresses but I personally think the dresses which are the similar design to the picture of Lucy above are my favourites. They are just so different and elegant and there is nothing on the high street similar to them ATM.

This is my favourite one, it's called The Candice Black dress and is only £65 which I think is a bargain for how STUNNING it is.

As I mentioned above I first noticed these dresses from the amount of celebrities wearing them recently. Even on Monday's night Made in Chelsea I noticed Louise wearing one. This shows they must be good quality for the amount of people buying them.

So I'm hoping my Mum and Dad will take the hint after this blog post and give me the money too buy a dress, as being the poor student I am I can't afford the splash out £65 on a dress atm...
but a girl can dream.

What do you think of the dresses?

COUNTRY CHIC

Since today I am ill, I have decided to treat myself by turning the heating on.
I know my flatmates are gona hate me.
But since I am lying in bed feeling sorry for myself, I have decided to be productive and do another blog post.

So, as part of our uni course we are putting together a magazine and everyone had to photo shoot which will hopefully be selected to be in the magazine.
However, it wasn't as easy as we thought it would be as the first location we picked fell through, luckily we had a back up plan.

So on Friday, me and my fav galz Kirsty & Chloe headed off on a roadtrip too the hills outside Banchory. We decided to use a pop of colour in each photograph which worked perfectly against the grey sky and the dull hills. It luckily stayed dry for us all day however it was freezing as it was extremely windy, which seemed to work in our favour in the photographs.
However, we couldn't complain about being too cold as we had massive winter jackets on and our model Aoife was left to pose in tiny outfits. Although despite this she looked absolutely stunning and our photographer Keilidh did a fantastic job helping us pick the location and making the photos look amazing.

Despite having a successful photo shoot in the countryside it wasn't all so successful getting back to Aberdeen, with Kirsty missing her train home and myself being late for a fashion show I was helping with that evening...felt like a total working fashion gaaaal.

Here is some of the finished photos..and I hope you agree with me that they look
TOTES AMAZING.

hope you all had a good week.

Tis The Season To Sparkle.

I have been a little bit absent the last few weeks with it being Halloween, then Bonfire night that I've completely forgot that I need to do some blog posts.

So I think its time to face it that Winter is definitely upon us, and living in Aberdeen its just not acceptable to leave the flat in a leather jacket anymore. I think what makes it more depressing is that my flat seems to be colder than it does outside so it means I am going to sleep with multiple layers on.
I mean as I am typing this I can see my own BREATHE and I am sitting with a jacket on.

However, it is my own fault I mean I'd rather have clothes over heating..right?
and with it coming into the festive months what is better than a bit of winter sparkle.
Being the total girlie girl that I am, it is safe to say I LOVE sparkles and I'm so glad it is this time of year again so I can purchase some more fab pieces.

Over the next few weeks I have many nights out with my work, girls from uni and friends back home so it is the perfect time to stock up on the sequin dresses these ones below being a few of my favs:

Tfnc - £50

ASOS - £45

MissGuided - £44.99

Well that's all for tonight, how was your Halloween & Bonfire night?

THE LBD.

The Little Black Dress something every girl needs one in her wardrobe or maybe ten...
With it being my work night out on Saturday I thought it was the perfect excuse to add another to my closet.

I went shopping Saturday morning expecting it to take me all day to find something to wear but as soon as I walked into Zara I knew I needed this dress and with it only being £25 who could resist?

I have always been a sucker for a LBD as I am one of them girls who feel like they make you look slimmer and with it coming into the Winter months I need all the help I can get. I also loved how the dress had a slit up the front giving it a bit more edge.

My luck continued on Saturday when I spotted these little beauties from Primark for only £12 and with them being the last pair in my size I couldn't say no...AGAIN.

These completed off my look for the evening, giving me a more 'classy' look since all my store managers were going to the night out. I also teamed it with a plain black clutch to keep all my essentials together (my beloved phone.)

So just a quick wee post tonight guys, hope you all had a good weekend!

The Great, Good, Bad & Ugly

So for my first blog post I had a fantastic idea of copying everyone else's blogs and posting pictures of my outfit for that day. This was until I remembered the only camera I have in Aberdeen is the one on my Iphone and with all my flatmates home this weekend I was left with the difficult task of trying to take decent full length photo of myself..which wasn't going to happen.

GREAT

So right now my life is pretty sweet. I've just moved into my own flat in Aberdeen, with my own three door built in wardrobe with still plenty of space for more shoes to add my collection, uhoh.

           New Look                                  Zara                               Miss Selfridge

REALLY GOOD

I've just gone into second year of Fashion Management at RGU with passing everything first time with no resits, wooo! Second year is also looking pretty interesting with modules such as setting up a blog & doing a photograph shoot for a magazine. Like seriously how good is my course??

 GOOD

I love living up here because it basically means I can go out and not need to get a taxi half an hour home, all in all cheap night(typical student) However, I do miss my friends from back home after having the most amazing summer with them.

crop top - Kuccia
shorts - Topshop
bumbag - Republic
sunglasses - H&M
BAD

Although my flat is pretty amazing, living with my friends and being able to make decisions for myself. Life isn't that good when in October I'm wearing a hoodie to bed! So at times I do miss my family and my warm house back home.

UGLY

I mean what could be more ugly than a 19 year old girl having to use most of my student loan to my pay rent. Did I mention I have a shopping addiction and I live 10 minutes away from the shopping center? Thankfully I have a part time job and occasionally the bank of mum & dad to help me out.

So that's it for now folks stay tuned for future posts, please give me a little follow and comments with your own blogs so I can follow you back.
